1. About Localo

Localo is a community directory of remote-work friendly spots — cafés, libraries, coworking spaces, and other venues where you can work for a day without a membership. These terms govern your use of localo.work(the “Service”).

2. Account eligibility and registration

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up-to-date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or spot information.
• Spam, harass, or impersonate other users.
• Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law, including GDPR and data protection laws.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

4. User content and licence

You retain ownership of the reviews, spot submissions, and other content you post (“User Content”). By submitting User Content you grant Localo a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

When you delete your account your reviews and other personal content are deleted. Spot listings you submitted remain visible attributed to “Anonymous” because they serve a community purpose.

5. Affiliate links

Some spot pages include affiliate or booking links. If you click these links and make a purchase or booking, Localo may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which spots are listed or how they are reviewed.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Spot information (opening hours, pricing, WiFi quality, etc.) is user-generated and may be out of date. Localo makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of any listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Localo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Governing law

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
